About

Britt Goodman is a theater educator, artist, and technician based in New York City. She received her Master’s Degree in Theatre Education and English at New York University. She has also studied at the Drama Centre London, and is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University as a triple major in theater, with a directing concentration, English, and psychology.

 

Companies include: The La Jolla Playhouse, The Cleveland Play House, Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, and Richard Frankel Productions. She is passionate about theater for young audiences, and hopes to foster cross-generational communication through the use of experimental practices in unconventional locations.

As a child, I grew up living in many different countries overseas, as well as in the United States. My experiences exposed me to many cultures, as such, I work on forming an inclusive environment, developing lessons with students who have IEPs, disabilities, or are English Language Learners in mind.
